Liriano was a tad wild tonight, throwing 58 strikes but 37 balls and walking 3 batters, including 2 in the 6th. He also escaped a 7th-inning jam in which there was a runner on first and second with one out. He then got two consecutive groundouts to end the inning.Justin Morneau went 1-for-4, extending his career-high hitting streak to 15 games.Every batter in the Twins’ lineup got a hit (totalling 14) except for Joe Mauer. He went 0-for-4.

Liriano is getting more attention by being “Snubbed” than if he had made it. He will be talked about plenty at this years “//All Star Game” “Some Star Game”

Thank God for the All Star break! I think the Boys are showing some wear and tear. Back to back games without Joe getting a hit? Two starts in a row where Santana is just ordinary? What’s going on? Hopefully this little stretch will cool off the Tigers and Chisox and give us a well needed rest. Can the Boys make a run for it in the second half of the season? What do you think Almighty Frymaster?
