Twins win a dramatic one to beat Detroit

Johan Santana was ace-like, throwing 7 strong innings, giving up just 4 hits with 3 runs. He walked 2 and struck out 10. Justin Morneau, though, was the hero of the day. Twins fall hard in series opener against Tigers

Francisco Liriano did not pitch his best, getting pulled after just 4 innings of work. He gave up 10 hits, 4 runs (all earned). FSN North reporter Ron “Coomdog” Coomer says he thinks there is something wrong with Liriano still.
