Twins win a dramatic one to beat Detroit

Johan Santana was ace-like, throwing 7 strong innings, giving up just 4 hits with 3 runs. He walked 2 and struck out 10. Justin Morneau, though, was the hero of the day. Twins even series against Detroit

Brad Radke had a better-than-quality start night last night, going 7 innings while giving up 9 hits and just 2 runs. Joe Mauer highlights the Twins’ offense, going 3-for-5 with a double and 2 RBIs. He raised his league-leading average to .367. Read the rest of this entry »

Clutch hitting allows Twins to win
